I was invited to the opening of Bowlero Chula Vista.
I love bowling, specially with my kids, but I hate that some bowling alleys smell like a gym (because all the sweating) they’re dirty, uncomfortable chairs and bad service, that’s why I was very excited to hear about a the opening of Bowlero in Chula Vista last Saturday February 24th, which is a new and fresh take on the traditional bowling alley.
It’s very youthful, has very fun atmosphere, blasting music and the food was delicious! Forget about what you know about Bowling Alleys and see why you can’t miss Bowling in Style at the NEW Bowlero Chula Vista.
Bowlero Chula Vista includes 48 blacklight bowling lanes with music videos and classic family movies screened on high-definition video walls.
How cool my boys look. It’s the Bowlero vibe!
At Bowlero Chula Vista, you can bowl like you’re in your living room. No more plastic seats at bowling alleys! The seats are comfortable and you can order food with a push of a button your waitress shows up.
Everything is operated by touchscreens, huge television projectors with 16 foot screens across all lanes. You can watch anything from movies, tv shows, sports and music videos. I like the 80’s atmosphere, the lanes are all neon-lit so it’s all glow-in-the-dark all the time.
Bowlero bowling alley is known for its over-the-top eats which are designed for sharing, so perfect for a family of 4 like ours. The food and drink menu includes the Supreme French Fry Sampler.
The colossal Party Pretzel.
And my kids favorite, the 2-foot long hot dog known as the Coney Island Mega Dog, Nine Napkin Nachos, the Smokehouse Burger, the Dunk Tank, a 123-ounce fishbowl cocktail. They also have salads, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, lamb lollipops, sliders, sides of veggies and desserts.
After several rounds of bowling, my boys enjoyed the interactive arcade.
The arcade has the newest and coolest games, our family’s favorite the Pac-Man table game, racing games , The Walking Dead game, and a Jurassic Park Thrill Ride and many more.
Former San Diego Charger Shawne “LightsOut” Merriman was the host during the the gran opening of Bowlero Chula Vista which include free bowling and game play plus giveways and the chance to meet and bowl with the Merriman, my boys were so excited to meet him. Bowlero Chula Vista is a great place to enjoy it with the family but also to plan a girls or boys night out event a birthday party or events.
There’s a relaxing lounge area to socialize and eat and six billiard tables. Bowlero also has professional catering services with executive chef on site. At the they serve specialty cocktails and local brews. This is the spot to people watch and enjoy a drink listen to great music.
Bowlero Chula Vista is located at 845 Lazo Ct in Chula Vista (south bay) this is their second location in San Diego County, a few months ago they opened Bowlero in San Marcos and they have several bowling alleys across the country.
Visit Bowlero Chula Vista and plan your next family day. I’m already planning a girls night out! I recommend you join their Bowlero Clubhouse and get members-only deals and promotions, Special event invites, news, and more! BE BOWLED!
