As a woman (You ladies will understand me) I’m always wondering why am I sad one moment and happy the next, am I crazy? I ask myself everyday! When I became a mom of 2 boys (Much easier than girls!) I see how they have mood swings as well and most of the time I don’t understand them, a kid’s mind can be a very complicated world!

After watching Disney Pixar’s INSIDE OUT I do understand a lot more our mood swings, although it’s just a movie, what if it’s not? What if somebody is actually controlling our mood swings?  Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head? Disney*Pixar’s original new film “Inside Out” ventures inside the mind to find out.

Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (voice of Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear (voice of Bill Hader) heads up safety, Anger (voice of Lewis Black) ensures all is fair and Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) prevents Riley from getting poisoned-both physically and socially. Sadness (voice of Phyllis Smith) isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

When Riley’s family relocates to a scary new city, the Emotions are on the job, eager to help guide her through the difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind-taking some of her core memories with them-Fear, Anger and Disgust are left reluctantly in charge. Joy and Sadness must venture through unfamiliar places-Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Productions-in a desperate effort to get back to Headquarters, and Riley.

Watch the Trailer!

Disney Pixar’s INSIDE OUT is one of the best Disney movies I’ve seen in years, here are 3 reasons why you have to watch it!

The story is just amazing.

Very well written, you can see it was crafted very carefully and they didn’t miss any details. It would really make you understand more our mood swings although is just a movie, it really puts a spin on the way we think when us, our husband, kids, friends have a mood swing, you’ll find the funny side in fear, sad, disguise and angry.

Kids and Adults Enjoy it!

Like many other Pixar movies, this storyline doesn’t forget there are adults in the audience too. Although the majority of the movie we’re inside Riley’s head they also show that woman and men often approach the same issue differently, although some might say is pretty stereotypical, I’ll say is true! I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s hillarious!

Great Message!

One of the reasons I love Disney movies is because there’s always a great message message specially for the kids and INSIDE OUT is not the exception. For example, Anger often talks about using a bad word, but it is bleeped out when he finally does, it teaches everyone, is ok to be sad sometimes because the next step is to be happy, the movie also talks about the importance of team work and friendship and that it doesn’t matter what that person does in a team for example, everyone’s work is important.
