Should Women Breastfeed in Public?

Breastfeeding in public is always a controversial topic, some agree and some don’t.
And although Forty-five states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands have laws that specifically allow women to breastfeed in any public or private location we still see incidents where women are ask not to breastfeed in public.
In this vlog I tell you my opinion about breastfeeding in public and I ask for yours, Do you think women should be allowed to breastfeed in public? And should they cover themselves when breastfeeding or not?

  1. I feel that breastfeeding is a personal choice. I think moms should definitely be allowed to breast feed in public but they should try to cover up. Breastfeeding is a beautiful experience between mom and child and why do strangers need to be a part of that moment?

  2. I nursed my son for almost 10 months, and I always did it under cover. I live in SoCal, and it gets very hot, I would find a cool place or just cover what was needs, letting it hang loose so probably someone looking from the side could take a peek, but that was it.
I think it’s important- people concerned about the inappropriateness of breastfeeding to contribute to the oversexualization of women. That is what boobs are made for, let it happen.

  3. I think it’s fine to breastfeed in public and I don’t mind if I see boob. But I know it makes other people uncomfortable so when I nursed my babies way back when I would cover up in public (sometimes).
