That’s right! At Islands Restaurants, one of my favorite restaurants by the way,
If it’s Game Day it’s Happy Hour at Islands Restaurant!
Game Day is not Game day without the coldest beer and delicious food, Islands has it all so you can cheer your favorite NFL team on Sunday, Monday and Thursday and score a Touchdown, enjoying the Game Day Happy Hour Menu where everything is under $10!
When we visit Islands Restaurants we always start with our favorite, Island Nachos ($7.99 during happy hour) But becareful because if you eat one you won’t be able to stop eating, the combination of Cheddar, jack, jalapeños, refried beans and guacamole is mortally-cious! (My word for when food is to die for!)
If Nachos are not your thing (Weird, but ok) we love their chips and salsa with guacamole, you gotta have avocados on Game Day, these babies don’t last on our table, is non-stop chipping.
Or their famous Cheddar Fries, the MOTHER of all fries. You haven’t tasted french fries until you try Islands Cheddar Fries
Who said Happy Hour should be after 5pm? At Islands is all day, yes! ALL DAY on Sundays and extended happy hour from 4 to close in the bar area every Monday and Thursday for game days, this calls for celebration and what’s better than a delicious margarita!
Or a Mai Tai, one of Islands signature drinks. It was just what I needed after such a long day.
Not on the happy menu but a must! The Cabo Loco tacos, this is one my husband’s favorite dishes at Islands Restaurants, I’m not a big fan of pork, but these tacos changed my mind, they’re delicious!
Or a Big Wave burger, Islands signature hamburger, the applewood smoked bacon takes this hamburger to a totally different level!
Of course Game Day is synonymous of Drink Day (You know I’m right) And nothing tastes better than a cold beer, my favorite their new Islands Golden Ale, handcrafted exclusively by Karl Strauss Brewing Company. I like it because is a medium-bodied draft beer with roasted malt flavors, floral hop aromas, I love its crisp taste!
Still hungry, hat about a desert? Maybe not for happy hour, but Islands Chocolate Lava, OMG is morta-licious! I took one bite and couldn’t stop and who could I! It’s fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, roasted almonds & a cherry, every single bite it’s like going to heaven! Even though it’s says on the menu “Perfect for Sharing” I wouldn’t recommend sharing it, you’re going to want to eat it all! In my case my son ate it all!
I’ve loved Islands Restaurants for years, not only their food is delicious, the ambience is so fun and every time my family and I visit one of their locations we get the best service.
Islands Restaurants are the perfect place to catch the NFL games! Each location also has multiple big screen TVs playing NFL RedZone and NFL Sunday Ticket, and each restaurant features bartender-call-it specials/trivia games for chances to win gift cards and swag.
Some other items on their Game Day Happy Hour Menu where everything is under $10 includes; their famous Sliders ($4.99), Big Island Iced Tea ($5.95) and Coors Light ($2.99)
