Latin Food Fest Brings the Best of Latin Food to San Diego

¡Latin Food Fest! Celebrates its Sixth Annual Hispanic Culinary Celebration

As a Latina, I can’t be more excited about Latin Food Fest which Celebrates its Sixth Annual Hispanic Culinary Celebration from August 17-18 at Marina Park, San Diego Bay, San Diego Bay. Among the Chefs are Philp from Born & Raised, Luisteen from Puesto, and Jose from Ironside Fish & Oyster.

San Diego’s largest food festival includes “Chefs Night Out,” a high energy party hosted by chef Ricardo Zarate and “Gran Tasting San Diego,” the festivals signature event featuring food, beverage, wine, beer, and spirits stations.

Cooking and Wine Demonstrations, Chef Awards, Toyota VIP Tent, and a four-hour music performance by La Junta Sound System.

Gran Tasting San Diego also includes the most comprehensive tasting of Latin spirits in California, which includes Agave Liquor, Bacanora, Cachaca, Fernet, Mezcal, Pisco, Pulque, Raicilla, Popo, Rum, Sotol, and Tequila. Wines from Argentina, Chile, Napa, Portugal, and Spain with be poured and paired with a variety of Hispanic cuisine.  Beer includes Tona Cerveza from Nicaragua, Estrella Damm from Spain, Bohemia from Mexico, local Latin favorite SouthNorte Beer Co, and a Michelada contest.

New to this year’s agenda are the thematic culinary pavilions serving food from South America, Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and Spain. Chefs Ricardo Zarate will conduct cooking demonstrations on the main stage, discuss Hispanic culinary trends, and sign copies of their latest books. The VIP Tent includes Oysters by Ironside Fish & Oyster, Grilled Lobster by Born & Raised, Chilean Carmen Reserve Cabernet, Octopus Agua Chile, Costa Rican Ceviche, Horchata Cheesecake, Aged Pisco, Massages, and a Gift Bag.

Looks amazing right! I want you to attend so I’m giving away 4 early entry passes to Gran Tasting on Aug 18, to participate in the giveaway, you must comment below telling me, What are you most excited about Latin Food Fest? Why do you want to go?

  3. I would love to take some friends that don’t really know what good gormet Latin Food is. Mexican is not the only type of delicious food from Latin America and a lot of younger people seem to be confused as to what that type of food tastes like! I would love to treat a few friends to this experience ?
