Lego Ninjago Movie Review & Giveaway

My boys are big Lego fans, so they couldn’t wait to see The Lego Ninjago Movie so I gave them the DVD as an early Christmas gift and of course they didn’t blink the whole movie.

In this big-screen NINJAGO adventure, the battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad.

Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their inner power of Spinjitzu.

The Lego Ninjago Movie is packed with lots of laughs along with messages of empowerment, acceptance, and courage, which is great for kids. Boys specially will love all the fighting/action Lego movie style. The story will remind you a bit to Star Wars , “I’m Your Father” As Star Wars fans we loved it!

The film also mentions parents breaking up, but not very emotional, I do love the scene where Lloyd thanks his Mom for always looking after him and making sure he was happy. Kids and adults will be entertained.

Watch the trailer.

  1. Honesty, compassion, and being a good role model. Honesty is key. Compassion, the world needs it. Good role model, setting a good example to others there is good in the world. Do good, see good.

  2. I think teaching, charity, honesty, and respect are great qualities to teach. Not only this is, but you do have to teach by example. My kids are always watching me and their are proud moments and moments that are not so good.

  3. I would say independence for one. Kids need to learn to do things and earn things for themselves. Honesty would be number two. We need to lead by example and teach kids to always be honest from the beginning. And third selflessness. We should always help others in need.

  4. I would say honesty, independence and kindness. Honesty because the truth is important, independence because they should learn to do things for themselves and kindness there never seems to be enough of it in the world.

  5. My son is four and I think teaching him family values is important. To have integrity and since he’s going to be a man I always tell him to be a gentleman. He always lets his sister who is older than him go first. He opens the doors for myself and my daughter and says ladies first.
