Lobster West Coronado Review and Giveaway

I love to find a new favorite restaurant in our Coronado Island and a couple of weeks ago we were lucky to be invited to dine at Lobster West and although I heard the food was delicious, I was impressed, because It was delish!

Their menu is very extensive, but we had to try what they’re famous for their lobster!

My boys and I ordered the Main Feast For Two Combo

The Main Feast For Two Combo ($40) Includes; one lobster roll, one crab roll and one shrimp roll, served with four sides, coleslaw and/or beaked beans and/or kettle cooked potato chips and/or soft drinks.

My favorite the lobster roll, is tender and fresh, the bun is delicious, they’re baked in house and I don’t know their secret but this bun is out of this world.

My kids and I couldn’t get enough of these rolls, just look at his  face, pure happiness!

Their New England clam chowder, which is truly New England style, lots of clams not so much cream

My favorite soup, the Lobster Bisque, OMG! It might be the hint of sherry that makes this soup,  so good! If you want to try more than one soup you can order the Flight of soups which includes, a scoop of each 3, bisque, chowder and Maryland crab soup.

Some people might find that the prices at Lobster West are a bit high, but, their seafood is fresh, they use fresh ingredients , you get a reasonable quantity of seafood on your plate and everything you try is truly delicious!

Lobster West is located on 1033 B Ave in Coronado Island and it’s perfect for lunch or dinner, they serve beer and wine as well and they have delicious desserts Would you like to try Lobster West??

  1. I would love to try the clam chowder bread bowl. It looks delicious if it tastes better than Disneyland’s I’m going to gain weight because this place is so much closer ?

  2. I would LOVE to try their traditional lobastah roll. I used to live in “Bahston” where getting a lobstah roll was an everyday thing. Here, not so much. But it would bring me back to my Sweet Caroline memories of my time in Boston, which is where I moved to Coronado directly from 9 years ago. Thanks for the chance to win!

  3. I love Lobster West, i used to go to their Encinitas restaurant, and when they opened in Coronado I was very happy. I love their Crab Chowder and their Lobster roll, with the soft delicious bread and also I love their Crab roll. ?

  4. I would love, love to try the crab salad sandwich. Both my Granddaughter and I love crab. It is our favorite. I would love to take her to lunch one day and enjoy this wonderful meal. She is 7 and enjoys trying new things.

  5. Wow! I’ve been wanting to try out this place! Since I work at the Ferry Landing and the Del, I have so many people asking me for recommendations to get food, especially seafood on the island. Would love to be able to try the lobster or shrimp roll and the lobster grilled cheese sounds amazing. Please consider me in choosing a winner to try out your restaurant and review it! Thank you!!

  6. I love their Main Feast for Two!!! My daughter went to school in Boston, and when we would go to visit her, we always stopped by our favorite restaurant to enjoy their lobster roll. She has since graduated college and moved back to California, so we were in search of a lobster roll, but they always seemed to be coming up short on taste, lacking very much lobster in the roll and were quite expensive. We ran across Lobster West, and we were thrilled! Their portions are generous, the taste is delicious and they are reasonably priced for lobster. Even the bread they use for their rolls is fresh. This has become a new favorite, and thankfully it’s a lot closer than Boston. I would highly recommend Lobster West!

  7. I would love to try the lobster roll. We lived in Maine for a few years & the lobster was amazing! Rolls were my favorite! Even my then 3 year old loved lobster. We haven’t really had great lobster since.

  8. What’s the dish at Lobster West you can’t wait to try and why? Wowza I’d love to try The Main Feast For Two Combo. It looks amazing!!!!! And I’m not much of a seafood eater but the lobster and shrimp and crab here look divine and I can’t wait to try it!!!!!
