I love to cook with my kids, but sometimes it’s difficult because some kitchen tools are dangerous for the little ones, that’s why I’m so excited to see what Chef Helen Cavallo does on, “That’s Fresh: For Kids,” on Disney Junior.
“That’s Fresh: For Kids,” is a new version of the popular Disney Junior Night Light cooking series “That’s Fresh,” with new episodes debuting every morning starting on Monday, May 6 on Disney Channel throughout the week. Hosted by Chef Helen Cavallo, the series encourages young viewers to play an active role in the cooking process and imparts the importance of healthy eating habits
- In each episode, Cavallo prepares simple and nutritious recipes that require no sharp objects or cooking so that young viewers at home can safely assist their parents or caregivers.
- Featured recipes include Veggie Rolls, Fruit Kabobs, Trail Mix, Berry Pops and Doc McStuffins’ No Bake Muffins.
- All “That’s Fresh: For Kids” recipes are Mickey Check-approved. Foods that receive the Mickey Check meet Disney Nutrition Guidelines that limit calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar.
I’m looking forward to watch “That’s Fresh: For Kids,” on Disney Junior to get great and healthy ideas to cook with my children!
