You know I’m huge Disney fan, my family and I consider Disneyland Resort our second house and Walt Disney World our vacation house Mickey & Minnie any opportunity we have,  I consider myself a Disney Parks expert.

During our many visits to Disney Parks I’ve learned a lot of tips on planning and enjoying Mickey’s house because although they’re magical places there’s so much to do and that it could be overwhelming and nothing should stop you and your family from having the most magical time at the Disney Parks. To help you make the most out of your Disney Parks vacations, here are my best..

1 How to choose the best day to visit a Disney Parks

Since March 2016, guests are  able to look at a calendar eight to eleven months in advance to see which days are considered “value,” “regular” or “peak.” Guests will pay more on “peak” days — when busier times are forecast, but if you’re willing to visit a Disney parks on a Tuesday in March for example, you’ll pay a few dollars less and you can expect less crowds. On the other hand if you go on a weekend in Spring Break or June for example, You’ll pay about $20 more per single day ticket. Check the calendar here Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets Walt Disney World Tickets

2 Plan Your Visit

Talk to your family to find out which are their favorite Disney Parks attractions and make a list so you know which attractions are a must.

If you’re going to Walt Disney World, as soon as you buy your  tickets, sign up for My Disney Experience account is free on MyDisneyExperience.com also get the APP! This is your bible and personal guide when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. On My Disney Experience, you can add Fast passes, make dining reservations, check out wait times of the rides.

By the way, all your information is on your Magic band, this is your room key and it has your Fast passes and you can add a password to make purchases, plus how cute is my favorite accessory!

3 Save Money

I told you how to save money when buying your Disney Parks tickets, but there are other ways to save when visiting this magical place. In case you don’t know, you can bring any kind of food and beverages (Except alcohol and glass) to all Disney Parks. Bringing snacks and lots of water saves you lots of not only money,  but time as well because you don’t have to stop at the food carts around the parks between rides every time you hear your kids saying, “Mommy, I’m hungry”

4 Items You Should Bring

Besides bringing lots of snacks and water to Disney Parks, there’s other items you should bring and don’t worry about carrying it around, there’s lockers outside and inside all Disney parks. It’s only $7 and you can open and close the locker as many times as you like until they close the parks.

  • Jackets
  • Umbrella and ponchos if it’s a rainy day
  • Portable Power Charger for your phone. You’ll take and share so many magical photos, you don’t want to run out of battery. There are no charging stations at the Disney Parks.
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Sunblock
  • Wipes, these are a must! Specially with kids, you don’t want to be caught in a messy situation and not have any wipes on hand.

I have tons of Disney Parks stories to share and lots of them messy, for example, during a very hot day at Walt Disney World, my boys where eating an ice cream and we where standing in line to take a photo with Mickey & Minnie, when my son dropped his chocolate ice cream cone of his shirt and because he wanted to eat it he grabbed it and tried to put it back on the cone by squeezing it! It was a mess! There was ice cream all over his hands, shoes and clothes, thankfully I had wipes which I always carry specially when we go to Disney Parks and I was able to clean him before they took the picture but it was messy!

My youngest has very sensitive skin so I love Huggies® Natural Care Wipes which are Hypoallergenic, fragrance and alcohol free and at the same time they have TripleClean* Layers so clean and  fresh skin is just a gentle wipe away.

I bought Huggies® Natural Care Wipes at BJ’s Wholesale Club.

At BJ’s Wholesale you can find all the Huggies products you need, with this box I’ll have enough wipes to avoid any surprises!

5 Getting up Early Pays off

You gotta get to the parks  early, as soon as they open and if you’re staying at one of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, take advantage of the magic  morning hours which allows you to enter the park 1 hour before it opens. Walt Disney World also has Magic Night. This is exclusive for guests of the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts so they can enjoy the attractions with almost no wait!

5 Get Fast passes and Ride Popular Attractions First

As soon as you enter the park, get a fast pass, you can have one fast pass  at a time for every Disney park.

  • At Disneyland Resort; (1) for Disneyland and (1) Disney California Adventure.
  • At Walt Disney World you  can have 3 Fast passes at a time for the same Disney Park per day, once you used all 3 Fast passes you can keep adding up to 3 Fast passes.

Start with the popular attractions, since the later in the day it gets the more crowded these attractions will get.

Disney Street party
6 Best Place to Watch the Parades

Find out the direction of  parade, you want sit where the parade starts, so when the parade ends you can get up and enjoy the parks, this will buy between 30 and 45 minutes.

7 Eat Early or Late

Don’t eat at the same time everyone eats, eat at least 1 hour before or after, this way you can easily find a table and enjoy your meal.

BJ’s and Huggies® Gives you the chance to win a Walt Disney World® Experience!
